Bondage of worldly life cannot tie us down; such is the knowledge of Vitrag (Enlightened One). Our ‘Self’ is such that it can never be tied down. Recognize (know) that ‘Self’, attain the Knowledge of the Self; such is the Soul.

Who makes you see others as being guilty? The inner enemies, anger-pride-deceit-greed within you, do that. How did anger-pride-deceit-greed enter within you? Through the belief, ‘I am Chandulal’. When that belief is removed, they all will leave.

To say that Knowledge of the Self (Gnan) is exactly the same as that other knowledge is considered as speaking contrary to fact (viradhana). Knowledge of the Self is [real] Knowledge and no matter how much 'light' there is in ignorance (agnan; relative knowledge), yet it is still ignorance. To refer to ignorance as Knowlege would be deemed as speaking contrary to fact about Knowledge!

By prevailing in ignorance [of the Self], worldly life gets charged. By prevailing in the Knowledge of the Self, worldly life discharges!

There is no realization of ‘who am I?’ ‘One’ is trying to remain hidden from his ‘own Self’. He knows all that is of the non-Self. It is a wonder that one remains hidden from his own Self!

When just one single word comes in action then it is called ‘Knowledge’ (Gnan) and even after reading all the scriptures but not a single word comes in action, it is called ‘Theoretical Knowledge’ (knowledge that which never liberates).

What should one do to get rid of ignorance? Attain Gnan (Knowledge of the Self). Use tools such as books and scriptures for attaining knowledge but if you meet a Gnani Purush (the Enlightened One), then you don’t need any tools. The Soul (Self) is inexpressible and indescribable. It cannot be put in books.

The ‘Self’ (Purush) and ‘Relative-Self’ (Prakruti), are two separate things. Self (Purush) is the Pure Soul (Shuddhatma) and ‘Relative-Self’ (prakruti) is ‘pudgal’ (non-Self complex of matter). Pudgal by nature is a complex of input and output; Self (Purush) by nature is Knowledge.

When will the Soul be realized? As long as the wrong understanding of, ‘I am the doer, ’There are things I can do’, exists in this world; until such ignorance is removed, one will neither realize Soul nor will he find any information on the Soul.
