This world is worth having compassion, not worth punishing anyone.

God has become trapped in as many living beings as there are. Now should you feel contempt (irritated) towards one when God is trapped?

Be cautious in this Kaliyug (current time era). Endure the penance that naturally presents itself to you; do not create penance that you are not faced with.

Whatever consolation you accept, that much penance will be deficient.

Only the Vitraags (the enlightened ones) can take a beating from the weak, no one else can.

This worldly life is very difficult. Mother-in-law comes, mother of the mother-in-law comes, sister of mother-in-law comes, aunt of mother-in-law comes. How many mother-in-laws come? One husband and how many mother-in-laws will come with him? Hey, crazy one, why do you have to be here? Just for one husband, you have to be haunted by all these ‘ghosts’?!

People have seen the ‘theory of doership’, but they have not seen the ‘theory of karma’. ‘This man insulted me’, is a ‘theory of doership’; and ‘he is cursing me as a result of unfolding of my karma’, is ‘theory of karma’. If one understands the ‘theory of karma’, he will not see anyone’s fault.

God has never experienced misery. The one, who becomes estranged from God, has misery.

Maintaining equanimity in misery is called penance (tapa).
