Self is nirvishayi (without any sense pleasure); penance-renouncing are vishayas (sense pleasure). No vishaya has the Self (Soul) in it; Self is only in the Self.

He who has resolved once that 'I will certainly get rid of the mistakes that are left in me', can become Parmatma (Absolute Supreme Soul).

Religion (Dharma) is for any ‘thing’ to come into it’s own inherent nature. You are the Soul. What is ‘One’s Own’ nature? It is eternal bliss !!!

That which gives result is religion (dharma). That which pushes away illusion (wrong belief) is religion. That which reduces or destroys illusion is Religion.

When one becomes one with the prakruti (Relative Self), he becomes dependent. When the obstacles of the prakruti (Relative Self) are destroyed, one becomes a Purush – pure Soul.

Where there is even the subtlest desire, the ‘Eternal Thing’ (Soul) cannot be attained.

If you say, ‘Now I look like an old man’, you will start to look like an old man. If you say, ‘No, I look like a young man now’, you will start to look like a young man. What you project is what you will see. Soul is the form of projection and if false projections are done, the worldly life is created! If you come to a state free of false belief (wrong projection), You will be in the state of the ‘Real form of the Self’ (mood swaroop).

Without ‘Gnan’ (True Knowledge of the Self), desire(s) will not go away.

Things get ruined the moment you say, ‘What will become of me? It means that you have no regard for the Soul. The Soul within has infinite energy, why not ask the Soul for strength [power]?
