Big clubs are always linked with players. But I've always said he is one of the best players I've ever played with. I've never played under a better captain on a pitch.

At the end of the day he does what he wants and what he thinks is best for the team.

I want, and I'm convinced that I will, end my career at Real Madrid. In football you can never tell what's going to happen, but I still think that I've got a lot to give as a player and I would like to continue at one of the best clubs in the world - Real Madrid. I want to stay here for many more years, for as long as Real Madrid want me to stay.

Obviously Jonathan was one of the best young defenders in England when he was there and now he is very important for Real Madrid,
