People believe that soulmates are two people that were made for one another. I believe that we were made for someone, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they were made for us.

We were one, even in the darkest corner.

I didn’t know what it was, who I was or who he was. I just knew what we could have become as one.

The raindrops tapped your windows like my lips tapped your back.

If I lived around the corner we would still be together, but honestly, it would’ve been for all the wrong reasons.

It was never a lingering sadness in result of us not being together. It was more so your arrogance towards the situation that brought on the sadness.
