Should’ve, could’ve, would’ve, but you didn’t. So you move on.

Maybe the problem isn’t everything and everyone around you, but what lies within you.

I realized I loved him after everything went wrong so I wallowed in self-pity and prayed I could wake up.

I laid in darkness, in bed with the same song on repeat for hours. I wasn’t sad. I was happy because that’s what happiness was to me.

I believe I’ve already met my soulmate and even if I’m not his, the memory makes me smile because it was truly beautiful.

I don’t know where I am or where I’m going, but I just want to be right here.

I could sit you down, f*** your mind for hours and I promise it would terrify you in ways you didn’t know existed.

At times, I do wish people knew the half of it. Not in a condescending or a superior sense, but beauty lies beneath our life experiences, and occasionally it would be nice to feel a truthful connection of past meets present.

There’s only one photo of us together and neither of us took it. I was so obsessed with the moment and entrapped in a world of him that nothing else mattered. I had no idea where my phone was, my mind or anything else. It was truly beautiful, sad and so beyond anything I’ve ever understood. I sit and smile and realize as I reminisce that it was beautiful to love someone else more than myself, but it was bliss to feel nothing for everything else.
