She missed him, but some things are more important than missing. Like love. People have to come back if and when they are ready. Then they will come back with the right ideas or requests or, at very least, the right bargains. Every other arrangement can only be a dressed-up delusion.

When we are close to someone, in a physical way, for an extended period of time, our actual body will grieve if they are no longer available to us. Our body has its own memory.

You see the separation of life as very arbitrary. You are not alone in this assumption. You have far more connection than you are even vaguely aware of. You will not lose the love that is yours.

Imagine that your tears can talk. What would they say? Listen to them. They are trying to tell you something important.
