There's no disruption to our service or to our customers. Our focus remains on doing everything we can do to reach a consensual, comprehensive agreement with the pilots union. Our energies will continue to be focused on that goal, which we believe is achievable.

We believe that's the best way, and that commitment hasn't changed. We recognize that we must get a consensual agreement if we are to get out of bankruptcy, and we've made significant changes and movement in our position to try to demonstrate that commitment.

The fact is, there won't be a consensus agreement reached before the deadline. It's not practical given how far apart the two sides are. But there's no light switch today. It's not turning off of one, turning on of the other.

We believe an agreement can be reached. A strike by the pilots would be fatal to Delta.

We can't restructure in bankruptcy without a pilot agreement. Lenders would never support a company without a resolved pilot contract.

No union has indicated to the company that they have any intention other than to sign the agreement. We believe that's what is important.
