When God is a greater cause of joy for you than the world, you have arrived.

God is the cause that is 'cause of itself' (essence) and the Universe is the effect existing within the cause (existence). Essence involves existence.

When God is enough for you, what the world has given you will be as well.

When you learn to find in God what you seek for in the world, freedom’s bell is rung!

Those who know God, know eternity. Those who know eternity know salvation because they know death does not exist. Here is the ultimate freedom to be found. To find it, all you have to do is let go.

Doing, doing, doing!’ cries the teenager. ‘Why do I have to do anything anyway?!’ Here, the adult is usually stuck for an answer. They know the usual answer, (you have to work to live) but the teen knows the reality… their parents are miserable from doing exactly this. Which is why, God has to come first... because that’s where freedom is.

Everything depends on something. The leaf depends on the tree. The tree depends on the sun, air and water. They are only ‘part’ of the Universe. To depend on God is to know the same and be sublimely happy because of that knowledge.

It doesn’t take much to become thrown. All it takes is to put the world before God. Over and over, we fall from grace, and over and over we are redeemed ‘as’ we pray.

In the midst of the whirlwind, those who stand with God, weather the storm.
