A feast is set before you. It offers all you could ever want. But you must want it above all else. Here is the secret that isn't so secret to the learned. They place God before everything else and are rewarded with a blessed life.

It takes most a lifetime to discover this great truth... we find our greatest joy in God. After years of fighting the world, the tortured adult is ready to surrender. Ready to 'give up.' Ready to... come home.

Do you know why children feel free? It's because they don't take unto themselves what is not theirs. For them, everything belongs to God. And they would have it no other way. They 'share' in this gift that is the world and are free. You too can share in this gift. All you have to do is let go.

Do you know why teachers revere the wise young? Because they're so rare. There is nothing new under the Sun. To know the fear of God is the entire agenda. The gift is to be able to do this and to guide others to same. Here is the task of true religion where the world is given up in exchange for God

If you want peace and not sorrow... if you want joy and not pain, say yes to God first. Then the problems of the world will fade away. You won't care about them. You won't worry about them. Because you'll have something far greater to take their place

What a burden it is to feel responsible for everything. The weight of the world drags you down until the pressure is so great, you no longer feel joyful. About anything.The world has become heavy. But you don't have to carry the world anymore.

What would happen if you let go? You'd have everything you want. But you're afraid. You're afraid if you let go there will be nothing there to catch you and you'll lose control. Yet, you never really had control.

Children born to wise parents are blessed, for they know they are in good hands. This same feeling can exist for the adult who learns to see God as parent and then comes to depend on Him completely.

To stay on the path means to love God more than the world. To do this you have to let go of power, control, and self-will. A tall order as most pursue happiness on Earth, not freedom in God. Those who have this freedom want for nothing, are content, and live a blessed life.
