You can watch a swan catch a fish and have no sadness. You may understand that this expression of you has died so that this other expression of you may live. There is balance and acceptance. Every moment of life is lived with an intensity and presence that is reverential.

Like a wise serpent shedding her skin, you are called to release whatever is no longer authentic or doesn’t serve your highest good. You are not the same person you were ten or even five years ago. Acknowledge your growth and movement.

Certain animal species who burrow into the Earth for places of solace or safety, or who inhabit the sheltering arches of caves alongside the spirits of the rocks, are the bridgers between these inner and outer levels of reality. Rabbits, gophers, moles, prairie dogs, wolves, and bears in hibernation all remember and recreate their rootedness in Mother Earth.

We recognize animals as our teachers and wayshowers on the paths of Enlightenment, and we honor and respect their souls and unique knowledge of the Universe.

Some are young souls with limited understanding of their mission and purpose, while others have learned spiritual mastery through many lifetimes of experience. Diversity is intentional, natural, enriching, and part of the wonder of being alive in the world. Be yourself, whomever and however that may be.
