Meat should not be placed before our children. Its influence is to excite and strengthen the lower passions, and has a tendency to deaden the moral powers.

We have plenty of good things to satisfy hunger without bringing corpses upon our table to compose our bill of fare.

Animals are becoming more and more diseased, and it will not be long until animal food will be discarded by many besides Seventh-day Adventists.
