You kind of find out a lot about people when your backs are against the wall and people aren't saying nice things about you, people trash you a bit on TV, ... To come back and perform like we did against a great football team is a great win for the program. Exactly how big depends on what we do next week and the week after that.

We're getting ready to play Ohio. I don't think you talk about those. The players, that shouldn't even be an issue. I'm proud. I'm proud as heck of what people think of us and what's coming around, but I know this: In this business it's one week to the next, and if we go out there and stink it up against Ohio, (the media) will be writing about something else next week.

We thought with Marcus against a team like Miami, you get a guy who can really run it and it helps you some at that quarterback position. I think Marcus showed you that a couple of times, with a burst there and a couple big first-down plays.

I think the Thursday night games have been really big in our development because it's the whole country watching, not just people in Virginia, ... I think they're big. They just whacked us and socked us and got after us. Hopefully, we're going to be better prepared to go against a great defense this time around.
