Harmony begins within. If we are to influence the world around us, even in minor ways, the real work begins inside and emanates outwards.

When life vibrates at a harmonious frequency there is no need to seek something better. It’s only when the rhythm of life is disrupted that people pay attention.

If people can be around each other doing co-human things—i.e., things that everyone does, such as eating food, helping others, creating, talking about the weather, etc.—and not feel threatened, anxieties are reduced, empathy is increased, trust is built, and perceptions are changed.

We, the willing, should practice the art of lifting the ideological veil and seeing co-humanity everywhere.

Ever since the Enlightenment era in the 17th and 18th Centuries—which, among other things, gave birth to the U.S. Constitution and the de facto motto E Pluribus Unum (out of the many, one)—interfaith tolerance has been sown into the fabric of Western society. The rules of one religion are not made into law for all citizens because of a simple social agreement. For you to believe what you want, you must allow me to do the same, even if we disagree.
