I was swinging the bat well in Chicago, had some good swings in Philadelphia but just not here. Putting the ball in play would be helpful. I just do something wrong and (the shoulder) gets a little sore. I take a bad swing, it gets a little worse.

I don't like the way I look on TV. I don't like the way my stance looks on tape. Sometimes, I watch my hit tape when I need some reassurance that I'm still a decent player. But I won't go watch a bad at-bat.

Day to day with me is so real. One day is good, and one day is bad. I'm not too excited about one catch or one home run because I know tomorrow could be a bad day. I just want to stay on a level plane.

I had a chance. Carlos made a great play on Juan. I thought I hit the ball pretty good, but it just didn't go anywhere. I feel bad for Jeff. Jeff pitched a pretty good game, and two big errors, they scored two runs.
