When the first pitch of the game gets thrown, we've got four games to try to win. I'm certainly interested in doing that now that I am sitting in this office.

I would certainly hope so. At the major-league level, there has to be a lot of nights where five runs are plenty to win.

I would certainly hope not (intentionally) in spring training. I don't think Curt Schilling goes out there to hurt people.

I don't really think he'll get better from the sidelines. But I think we're getting to the point where you'd certainly like to think we'll sit here and see some improvement.

I certainly don't want have to use Mike Gonzalez in that situation.
