I grabbed Trot Nixon's bats today and I'm grabbing any bat that feels good now.

I felt like I had to salute the fans because they were always great to me here and I know now they're just booing the uniform. They appreciated everything I did and how I played the game. I'm just disappointed we didn't come out swinging the bats better.

It's definitely very disappointing. I guess we just needed to swing the bats a little better and help out our pitching staff tonight. We had some good swings, and unfortunately we just couldn't do much more.

Some guys haven't gotten into the mode of swinging the bats real well.

Normally, our bats will get us back in it, but that didn't happen today.
