Dewayne White made a great play. He has been close throughout the season. We have been telling him that, but he saved his best for last.

In my lifetime in the NFL, he is the best back I've coached. I'll say this about him; he is as tough as they get. The look in his eye is going to give our football team a chance every Sunday.

As a runner he has incredible vision, tremendous stamina. He has great competitiveness, and he can run with power. In my years of coaching, he is certainly the best ball-carry back I have been around.

As a football player, Woodson is such a unique guy. He can stand in there and play man-to-man, old-school bump-and-run coverage with the best of them, and he will knock you out.

He has intense stamina. This guy is a workaholic and he is at his best when a game is on the line.

Who doubts them? I don't know how you doubt them. They have the best quarterback in the league.

He thought it would be best for him to sit the rest of the game and try to get right for next week, ... We don't really know the severity of this hamstring. It might just be a contusion of some kind. ... We're meeting with him at this time and I can't speculate publicly any more until Carnell and the doctors have had a chance to look at this further.

I don't want to sit here and review all the comments I've made to him over the time we've been together. Just know that as the head coach, I was trying to make it work. I don't want to have a soap opera. All I can tell you is in my heart, I know I did the best I can do.
