We're hopeful that in 2006 he will be the all-time saves leader. It's certainly within his grasp. I won't be surprised if he surpasses the 500 mark and goes to Cooperstown as one of the few relievers there.

Certainly it was a blow. He had had such a good spring. He's a key cog to this whole club.

He certainly was worth a $50,000 gamble (the price of a Rule 5 claim). He'll get a chance to make our club in some capacity.
