Stop seeking their approval and validation. The only opinion that should and will ever matter is your own, nobody else deserves to have that much control over the outcome of your life. Do what makes you happy, fearlessly.

You have friends and you have enemies, the trick is mastering that the only difference between the two is; your friends will plot your downfall without you realising.

The trick when it comes to dealing with depression is being able to imagine yourself out of it. When you can picture a happier life, you will be determined to work at the things that prevent it from happening.

You cannot force a person to respect you like you cannot buy love but you can refuse anyone who doesn't do these things freely a pass into your life.
