New generations recognize, money is just a plaything. The new bottom line is humanity itself.

Raising consciousness involves confronting people with issues and truths that they have not really considered before. Many of these truths are uncomfortable and disturbing, but unless we confront them and look for a remedy, humanity cannot move forward.

No one is going to save the world by hating other people. That’s not to say we shouldn’t be angry about all the wrongdoing. Anger, however, is not the same as hate, though people often equate the two. Anger can be channeled into positive action, as a force for good. When our hearts are in the right place, we are working for the benefit of all humanity.

I am not a skin color. I contain all of humanity in my heart and my mind, my flesh, my blood and my bones, and I am proud of that fact. You should be, too.

We need to embrace the truth of the One Idea. We are all brothers and sisters. That is always worthy of respect at the deepest core of our humanity. Holding onto that truth is where integrity lives.

Every child comes into this world as a gift to humanity. It is up to us, as adults, to see that they are properly taken care of and given all the love and attention they deserve. If we did so, I have no doubt our world would be drastically different and much more humane.

Are we as a species evolving toward the best in ourselves or the worst? Let's not lose sight of who we are and who we wish to be.

To be compassionate requires great strength of character. It is never weakness. The people who stand for compassion and love often do so at the risk of their own lives. They are the people we admire most who remain true to themselves at all costs and true to the highest principles of human decency in the face of unspeakable cruelty.
