Appreciate the good people in your life when it counts, not when it's convenient.

We focus too much on the ones that turned their backs and not enough on the few that have our backs.

There are people in your life who truly care about you. They are the ones who are present when you are doing well and they are the ones who come through when you hit rock bottom. The others, just happen to share the same air. Never make them the breath of life.

The only person who will put you first all the time is YOU. Sometimes the only thing you achieve by being selfless is that you end up giving less to self. Nothing wrong with making your life a priority! You owe it to yourself.

Stop accepting, "You love who you love", and start believing, "You love who loves you.

If someone doesn't like you because they tell others, "you come off as being" one way or another, they obviously haven't taken time to even know you, much less form a valid reason to dislike you. Bottom line, their opinion does not matter. Focus on the real ones in your life.

I think about all the times I was expected to "tone down my personality" and asked to "not be so outspoken", and challenged because I did not "know my place". Those are the times I am proud to say, I did not meet expectations.

Love who you are, as you are, where you are because you are amazing!
