Nations that take pride in or glorify war, violence and death are sick societies. When unbridled patriotism trumps humanity, peace, justice & rationality, it becomes a poisonous cancer that is both abhorrent as well as mortiferous.

Taxes fund wars, wars generate taxes; wars are engineered, taxes are imposed. More wars generate more taxes, more taxes fund more wars.Lies & deceit spark the fear, fear feeds on the inherent bias & insecurities. More fear leads to more feed-fest which leads to war.Repeat para-1.

War is the rich old men's favorite spectator sport. They dream of these for young foolish men to die in aimlessly; it makes them feel like a God and they get to make a killing off of it too.

Laugh not at the dead, for the corpse at your feet is prophetic of your own destiny.

Politics is an alternative to war and if you're in it, you live it as such. You win some & you lose at times.
