Meat is flesh, milk is food intended for the baby of the mother who’s secreting it, cooking is setting fire to one’s food, effectively burning and destroying it.

Clearly the current system has failed. Why not give peace and compassion a chance? There is a terribly tragic folly behind desires for world peace, while still demanding the mass murder of animals for food.

Face your true self. Your reaction when facing any animal is much more likely to be 'Ahh, cute!' than 'Yum, dinner!

We don't live like our ancestors did, so why should we base our diet and ethics on how they may or may not have lived? Let's evolve into a more peaceful, compassionate species and respect all life forms.

You know the world has gone mad when those who have enlightened, compassionate views and future visions, are accused of borderline insanity, ridiculed and criticised for thinking positively.

Stabbing a knife in someone's throat is clearly "wrong". Doesn't matter if that "someone" is furred, feathered, scaled or a smooth skinned biped. Violently ending the life of someone who does not wish to die, will go against the conscience of all who have not been desensitised to the act..

No decent person deliberately chooses to be violent or cruel. We must remove our blinkers and learn that in order to live according to our true values, we need to stop viewing animals as commodities to be used, abused and killed for our own selfish benefit.

Violence takes on many forms, sadly violence is such an everyday part of our lives that we have mostly become oblivious to it. It goes on behind closed doors, far away from our vision. Screams that go unheard by the masses. Yet the butchered remains of miserable lives land with a sizzle on our dinner plates, and are rarely fully recognised for what they really are.

It's just so simple, animals are not ours, they have their own lives. If you're not ok with imprisonment, suffering, and murder, then please be one less person paying for the imprisonment, suffering and murder of animals.
