Leaving there (the day of that loss), I was impressed because they played so well today against us. But they were at home, they were ready and focused, and it was their time.

I was disappointed in our guys. Nobody did anything special. It was a lackluster effort. We came out real flat against a team that showed a lot more emotion than we did.

Matthew gave us a good effort at No. 2. We just didn't have enough overall to be more competitive against a quality team like that.

I had a feeling that it would come down to No. 1 singles. I'm very proud of Chelsea for putting us into the position to still have a chance to win the match. She's a freshman going against the conference player of the year. It's very difficult to lose like that, but our girls showed a lot of heart.
