I have no idea why people want to be Jews or Christians or Greeks or Poles or liberals or conservatives or anything but themselves.

Forget culture. Forget religion. Forget nationality. All that superficial stuff. Dig deep. and you will find that you are just you, and I am just me.

Whatever we may be or not be to others, to ourselves we are always just ourselves.

Religion and nationality are made up categories. All we are are human beings, flesh and blood.
