Do writers force themselves into a state of anxiety in order to have something to write about?

Writing is a pastime, an obsession, something to do. Why make anything more of it?

Happy people shouldn't write. It generates envy and bad reviews.

We follow a rule until we feel like breaking it.

Words without some feeling behind them are dead words.

Our deepest feelings never make it to consciousness let alone to paper.

I pick up my pen and scratch words on paper because I like how it feels.

Writing is about preserving things, life is about letting go.

Writing is something to do and that's value enough.. Why make anything more of it?
