Stetson scored 23 points off turnovers. We have to take care of the ball and take good shots. We have to make the easy play because Gordon sits back there like a free safety picking off passes.

We had our (big) men helping bring the ball up. So, if we were able to break the press, we had good scorers who were able to stop and shoot on the other end. This team is getting smarter, and we know who should take (the shots).

We are excited to have David join our program, ... He is a fine young man who represents all that we look for in a student-athlete at FAU. He's a good person and a good student from a good family. As a player, he gives us another ball handler who can run the team while putting terrific pressure on opposing guards. We were fortunate to find him at such a late date.

We couldn't throw the ball in the ocean. We got decent looks, we just couldn't make a basket.

I'm disappointed. We just didn't perform very well and we couldn't throw the ball in the ocean. ... When you know it's one game and you're done, the basket can look a little small.
