Telling the truth seems risky in the short term, but builds something in the long term. Telling lies seems safe in the short term, but destroys everything in the long term.

Stand with lies and comfort and you build something weak. Stand with truth and honesty and you build something strong.

Fools rarely say what they think, and suffer silently. The wise say what they think, and may make some suffer momentarily.

It’s wise to tell the truth. It’s even wiser to tell it kindly.
