Every day is a different day. These guys are all professionals. They've got a real good ability to forget what happened yesterday, good or bad.

It all revolves around talent and ability and he's got the talent. Rookie or no rookie, he can play.

We have the ability to do special stuff, and we have to continue to be more consistent, and that's team-wide. It's not one single person or one single area. We do believe that we'll get better and better as the year goes on.

He'll fit in quite nicely. You can't win without talent and we couldn't pass up the ability to pick up someone with talent and experience, too.

You'd like him to get as many balls as he can, to get used to playing the position. He looked good out there. He's going to be fine. He's got the athletic ability to be a good outfielder.

I told our guys it's very important for us to go home this winter and not give anybody the ability to call us losers again. They've been called that for 12 straight years.
