Playing well against a good team builds confidence. I think it's definitely important when you can do it against a team with a winning record.

I tell them I'll buy half of them; y'all buy the other half. Nine times out of 10, I'll end up paying for all of them. But at least I know I'll have 50 screaming for me, not against me.

It was very uncharacteristic of us. We just weren't capitalizing when we had opportunities. Things just snowballed on us. It was just too much to overcome against a very good football team.

Anytime we go up against an offense that likes to run the football like they do, it?s up to the defense to do the job. We just tried to mix it up with the 3-4 and 4-3. Give credit to the whole defense.

I feel like I was in a boxing match. Nothing is ever easy against Pittsburgh. . . . Last week we didn't get too low with the loss. This week we won't get too high with the win. But it's nice that we're able to pull out tough wins like this. This is what football is all about. I know it's early in the season and there's a lot of football left to play. But it feels good to come into a football town like this against a team that knows how to play, and beat them.
