Life is mental; it's all about attitude. The majority of it is lived in your head.

There are an abundance of things in my life that I would not have picked out for me, yet I value those items, experiences, customs, and memories because they were given to me by someone I love.

Not every experience in life is sweet. Be grateful if at least some of them provide sweet memories.

Try new hobbies. Develop new interests. Pursue new experiences. When you expand your interests, you increase your opportunities for happiness.

The experiences we endure as trials are what cultivate compassion in our hearts. We feel for others because we have suffered similarly. We know and empathize, having tasted the bitterness for ourselves. Sadly but truly, it is the harshest trials that tend to cultivate the deepest compassion. Trials are every person’s lot in life. You are not alone.

Life demands much. Give more.

There are things known—things experienced, felt, and understood—that words hold no power to convey. Attempting to do so only dilutes their substance and does them injustice.
