It's a sweet thing to sit quietly in the early-morning darkness and talk to God for a while. It's amazing what you gain from the conversation.

Be patient with God. Have faith in his timing. Listen to the gentle promptings that come to your heart and mind. In time, you will see His hand at work in your life.

If every day you were to walk past the same individual and ignore him, never smiling or saying hello or returning any kind gesture he extended toward you, would you expect that same individual to readily respond if suddenly you were to implore his helping hand? Then don’t ignore God. Say ‘hello’ now and then.

The only person to whom you owe an explanation is God. And believe me, honey, He already knows. He knows the whole truth about everything.

Forgiveness does not mean we minimize the sin or ignore the consequences that occurred as a result. It means we maximize our faith, trusting that both justice and mercy will be extended at God’s hand towards those affected.

Praying is admitting you don’t got this, but you know God does.

Never assume that because you cannot see the answer, there is no answer. There is. Give it prayer. Give it faith. Give it patience. Give it time. You will have your answer eventually.

There is never a bad time, a bad place, or a bad reason to pray.
