If you ever expect to write fairy tales, you've got to get your head in the clouds.

The magic of reading happens when an author’s written work strings you along until your imagination, aware of your wants, molds the tale into an extraordinary world to be visited frequently—perhaps dwelt in for years.

Daydream. Because you can't accomplish what you've never fully imagined.

As a writer, I see the saga of your life in a single glimpse. It may be inaccurate, but my version doesn't lack for creativity.

Imagine fantasy and pretend as neither fantastical nor pretended.....and then believe it.

When a person reaches the end of a book and says, 'I want to read that again,' what he's actually saying is that he wants to mentally merge with his favorite character and stroll among all the other creative personalities, feeding a hungry imagination through the vicarious reliving of each and every wild chapter that stirred his emotions, the whole while surrendering to a safe yet daring existence where any crazy, hopeful thing can and does happen. That's all.

I live in two unique worlds, traveling between both with just the opening or closing of my eyes.

When I sit down to write I actually ask myself, 'Who do you want to be today?'

I settle into my imagination so that I might be someone when the real world tells me I'm no one.
