Man’s will is strong, but it is arrogant to assume that our will is anything compared to the will of God. People kneel before their king because the king has a power that they don’t. Wise kings kneel before God because they know that he gave them their power and can take it away just as easy.

Being a Catholic means being willing to let the world hate you. Being a Catholic means telling people things that they don’t want to hear. Being a Catholic means overturning the tables and saying, “This will not stand!” Don’t believe me? Walk into the nearest church and look at the crucifix.

There were plenty of men who had received the Papacy and weren’t worthy of it. There were men such as Stephen VI, Benedict IX, John XII, Clement V, Sixtus IV, Leo X, Alexander VI, and others. These were men who had taken the throne of Saint Peter and turned it into a couch of corruption, greed, dissipation, blood, violence, incest, and heresy.

In the years that have been spent learning about my Catholic faith, I have learned many things. One of the things that I’ve learned is that there are two kinds of evil people. There are people who do evil, and there are people who see evil being done and do nothing about it.I have also learned that not all saints are popes, and not all popes are saints.

Believing in God is easy; keeping that faith is the hard part.

Though we shall all be returned to the dust, the kingdom and glory of our God shall endure forever

Very few people are prepared to stand up and defend the Church against the interests and ideals of nonbelievers.
