Since last Friday, UNHCR has appealed to the Uzbek authorities to be given access to the returned Uzbeks, but this has so far not been given.

We know that there are a lot of people in Kosovo who need help, and we would like to get access to them as soon as possible,

We have not had access to them and we believe that some of them would be refugees. That will be on the agenda.

There is also a concern about the increasing and more restrictive asylum policies across Europe. This has also, we fear, led to a lack of access to proper procedures for people seeking asylum.
