The level of strength of the person who says, "I can do everything by myself", is but one degree of separation away from the weakness of the one who says, " I cannot do anything by myself". It takes courage to give. it takes courage to receive.

Judgment is a double-edged sword. On the outside, it may seem that we are judging others. The truth is, we are also weighing ourselves on those same unkind and unloving scales.

When a person offers you everything they have, whether it be a mansion or their last piece of bread, the one who has less, is offering so much more.

A person's life-journey is like an iceberg. What we can see, is but a fraction of what is present underneath the surface. Judgments are but mere frivolities that humanity is paying for, very dearly. We cannot afford to judge; neither ourselves nor anyone else.

For an empath, it is next to impossible to not clasp the hand of the drowning man because they can feel the feeling of not  having anyair in their lungs.
