All seek perfection from our parents … Just wait till your parents start depending on you, that is when your own perfection, or lack thereof, will be apparent.

Learn to take parents the way they are … What they do for you is something you cannot expect from anyone … What they do not (or cannot) do for you is also with a reason, i.e. ‘in your best interests’!
