Giving up something that you don’t need is not charity. Charity is when you give up something you need, that counts.

If publicising your charity is better than no charity at all, I’m highly worried about your moral compass.

Giving up your old clothes is not charity my dear. Charity begins when it hurts to give when you’re making sacrifices, not giving away something meaningless to you.

You shouldn't feel bad if you don't donate, the donation is always a self-choice.
