When an apology provides a substitute for low quality work, people drastically improve apology tendering skills, leaving behind the urge or necessity to improve work related skills.

The problem with being mediocre is we invest too much time and effort in proving we are not, rather than thinking about investing in improving ourselves.

Success comes to us only after our acceptance that being just good isn't good enough, we must put best of our efforts to become the best.

When we look for improvement, our search is always influenced by the belief in own capabilities. We underestimate ourselves, and select the easy or accustomed route that do take us somewhere, but not where we were destined to reach.

The road to improvement will test our patience while waiting for the right moment, and the courage not to be disappointed with what we encounter, before it takes us to the desired destination.

Logic and intent more than the regular instructions, produce better players. Great players never question the question mark on their performance, they take it as a tool for improvement and make the required changes which are required to make them a better player.

No work is unimprovable, we start it but leave it unfinished, either due to our incompetence or misunderstanding that crossing the finishing line is not at all important.

In our journey between Thinking to Improve and Trying to Improve exists the first stop called Willpower, and most of the travelers’ never go past this place, thinking that only thing matters is the resolution to reach the destination, but success needs completion of journey and that requires crossing the next two stops: determination & hard-work.

I am not good enough - now, I am not a hero – still. I may be in the limelight for not being the hero, but I am the only person who can make a hero of myself. I must rise above the fear of failure. Every day, I must analyze my performance & improve. Beginning today, I refuse the option to be mediocre by not wasting any time in waiting, but moving ahead in search of greatness.
