Never be content with your work, even if you are good at what you do, look at tightrope walkers – they don't stay in one place for a long time, they keep moving because no matter how confident they are about the efforts and skill set, a strong wind factor can hinder all the efforts. Improve & improvise because this time it was the wind, next time it could be rain, hailstones or sand storms.

Work like playing a video game, we can't move to a higher level by skipping or being bad at lower levels, the lower levels are made easy to polish our skill sets & analytic skills, like a video game treat even the daily routine work as a preparation to be battle worthy for the tougher stages, never pick & chose the occasion or situation to perform better.

When we stop thinking of improvement, the thought process gets busy with justifying our approach, the wish to succeed comes from heart, miss that and the mind gets busy in generating excuses on how being better isn’t a better idea, & we are good the way we are.

I have always waited for the perfect tools to carve a statue, little did I realize that tools were never the issue, It's my carving skills which needed an upgrade and improvement.

For becoming a better player, we must self-analyze our best performance & critically listen to own conscience - it will highlight the flaws we got away with.. Most of the times we win due to weak competition or external conditions, but we get so deafened by the applause that a call of improvement never reach our ears.

A point to prove is not about always being right, it’s all about exceeding the expectations, and the expectations can only be surpassed if taken as a challenge, when taken as a burden it slows down our journey to success.

Every failure is a learning opportunity, only, if we are interested in improving rather than proving that the game wasn’t lost to the opponent but to bad luck.

Excuses are lies which we tell ourselves before giving reason to others, we reason ourselves that we have done our best, gradually the reason becomes our belief & ultimately our truth, unknowingly we become responsible for closing the door that can lead us towards improvement.
