When people hurt it is because they feel they are going to lose something. The questions to ask is: What?

What you value at the highest level needs to be in alignment with your partner or you will have conflict.

We add caveats to prayers like seasoning to bad sauce. We hope for something else or something more, but we forget. Sometimes life isn’t the pleasure of the taste, rather the nutrition we get from it.

You can't be tempted, unless you want what is tempting you.

We are all lies waiting for the day when we will break free from our cocoon and become the beautiful truth we waited for.

Each of us has empty spaces in our heart that go through life being filled temporarily, by the various people we meet along the way. The trick is to find what needs to remain permanently filled in our soul and what needs to be filled occasionally through encounters.

More often than not, people who are obsessed with their desires and feelings are generally unhappier in life vs. people that refocus their attention on service to others or a righteous cause. Have you ever heard someone say their life sucked because they fed the homeless? Made their children laugh? Or, bought a toy for a needy child at Christmas time?

You can ignore your heart and mind, but it will always find its way home.

God doesn't hand you an easy life because you will grow in it. He hands you a dream with hurdles, obstacles, setbacks, battles and challenges because he knows the real you is at the finishing line.
