When we do our best to treat others with kindness, it’s often a struggle to determine which actions best express our love and care for ourselves.

That is why we do not hold an understanding of karma in a narrow way.  It is an extremely vast vision of life.  If at a given moment we experience the fruits of a past action, whether wholesome or unwholesome, our experience is the experience of all beings.  If we see an experience happening outside ourselves, we understand that this also is our experience,as in a dream when every character is some reflection of our own mind.

You should never use the word Karma when talking about someone else, it's only a concept you should apply to yourself as a matter of investigation.

Things don't just happen in this world of arising and passing away. We don't live in some kind of crazy, accidental universe. Things happen according to certain laws, laws of nature. Laws such as the law of karma, which teaches us that as a certain seed gets planted, so will that fruit be.
