And how can we truly know ourselves unless we get still enough to listen to just ourself? Unless we give ourself the time and space to tune in.

Life is a series of experiences that are ever so gently showing up to remind us who we are and what we need to walk us home. Whether it’s the gentle voice of the forest calling us to connect, or the pounding headache reminding us that we’ve been to hard on ourselves.

Stop, be still for a moment, drop your shoulders, close your eyes and take a long deep breath.

It’s amazing what insight comes when we stop long enough to listen and how fulfilled our path becomes when we use what we’ve found to live authenticity.

Every day in every way we are gently, and sometimes not so gently, being guided in the direction of our inherent truth. Every experience is walking us home to ourselves.

Those of us who garner the courage to follow our inner voice of awareness dare to step onto the path that will lead us on an epic adventure, and eventually lead us home to ourselves.

Awareness is like electricity to our soul. Its sets our neurons ablaze with the conviction of our integral being.

And such is life, it keeps showing up. However, we get to choose to be victims or victors, and the greatest achievement of all is to know yourself, to have your feet planted in the earth and your hands reaching for the sky, and to do your best to integrate that in everything you do.

The light the dark. The ebb and flow. This is life - there will be sunny days and there will be storms. But the power is in knowing who you are amongst it all and not lingering in any one place, just staying long enough to find your treasure and realizing it’s within you wherever you’re at.
