Like dance or music, life should be a balance between chaos and orderliness. Human beings live in misery because they go to extremes; they either impose too much structures on themselves or go full hippie.

Two friends were trekking a mountain. One was motivating the other. “Come on! Think of the magical view from the peak. It will be worth the struggle.” When they reached the peak, they got to see nothing but fog.”Universe is the lover you can’t fool around with. You must love truly. You must love the whole journey. Then only you will get the magical view at the peak.

If you're not willing to be pulled out of your existing mental and physical structures, you can't expect to have anything different from what you have.

Lust is like a dark and dead tree. There is no point in fighting with the dead branches. Dig and see if there is any life left in the roots. Attend to the deep-rooted desires that might still be innocent.

If you become a king, you will be excited for a few days. Then you will become used to it. A new normal will set in. There will be exciting days, depressing days and mostly normal days. The net joy and sorrow will be same as you have now. Understand this illusion and enjoy the present moment.

Suppose there is a very hungry and weak dog. And then there is a healthy dog. If you go to feed them, which one is more likely to bite you? The hungry and weak one. Those who bark and bite you are actually in dire need of help. Don't curse them further. They are already cursed.

Let your goal be no less than becoming complete. Let your ego perish in pursuit of this goal so that you can recognize your eternal self which is already complete.

Suppose you were floating without a body in dark space for many centuries. And now you have a body, a ground to walk on, so many colourful things, air, sounds, mountains, lakes, rivers, sky and so on. You should be crying with gratitude to have all this.

When your mind fills with dark clouds of bad temper and the lightening of anger is about to strike, look for the shelter. Don’t run outside towards the target of your anger. The only shelter is inside you where your deity is smiling, where your higher self is shining.
