Grow old gracefully. Drop your desires when you lose ability to fulfill them. Otherwise you will try to fulfill them through others; You will become controlling, compulsive, manipulative, noisy and downright disgraceful.

When somebody is massaging your head, you will notice that they tend to leave one spot untouched. You will say, “Why are you leaving the spot where it is itching the most?” The truth is, that spot is itching the most because it is being left out.“Why am I not getting the thing I want the most?” should be rephrased as “I am itching to get this thing because I am not getting it.” The power of a desire lies in the difficulty to fulfil it.

If a shopkeeper gives you exactly what you ask for, you will just take it and come home. If he says, "I don't have exactly what you ask for. But I have a substitute." Then a conversation will start between you and him; an attachment will start forming between you and him; you will go to him again and again." Maya (Space-Time) is that shopkeeper. It never gives you exactly what you want.

If you want to help a guilt-ridden person, don’t act holy and pure around them. Everyone has a dark side, Be true, Be vulnerable. Be normal. Be human.

When you're depressed, you don't feel like taking a bath or cleaning the room. But you feel good after doing it. Same with meditation. You must do it when you don't feel like doing it.

Cooking and cleaning in your 'own' home feels like a burden . Doing the same in a spiritual organization gives you joy. That is the curse of ownership. As soon as you think that you own something, it becomes a burden.

Anything that occupies your mind is your occupation. For some people quarreling is an occupation. They fear losing it more than a job-goer fears losing job. Because emptiness of mind is scarier than emptiness of stomach.

All good warriors are seekers of truth. They want to live in a peaceful corner. But war comes to them wherever they go. Since they are blessed with the power of destruction, people keep coming to them to get destructed.

I wish I could communicate with you. But your mind stands like a wall between us. Once I melt this wall with my words, we will communicate in silence for eternity.
