There are people who fear XYZ. And then there are those who are obsessed with XYZ. These are two extremes.If you're on one extreme, get to know the other extreme. It will help you come to the middle where there is peace.

When somebody is massaging your head, you will notice that they tend to leave one spot untouched. You will say, “Why are you leaving the spot where it is itching the most?” The truth is, that spot is itching the most because it is being left out.“Why am I not getting the thing I want the most?” should be rephrased as “I am itching to get this thing because I am not getting it.” The power of a desire lies in the difficulty to fulfil it.

If we see the universe as a whole, nothing is changing in it. The scenes of the past are still there in the past. The scenes of future are already there in the future. You, the soul, are passing through them and experiencing the illusion of change. Karma gives you the fuel, Desires give you direction. If you didn't have any Karma or Desires, you would just float in eternity.

Desires are like coil springs. When we try to handle them at the mind level, we either suppress them too much or stretch them too much. In both the cases, a lot of stress and negative energy accumulates that harms us.

The recess bell has rung. The teacher is just wrapping up her lecture. Only your body is inside the class. Your mind is already in a different zone. Remember that joyful feeling?When the bell of awareness rings, your body and mind remain in the world, but you see them from a distance, from a different zone altogether. You feel very light, relieved from the unnecessary baggage.

A Yogi in solitude romances with life. The rays of sunlight falling on his skin have travelled millions of kilometers to meet him. What a passion!The food he has prepared has not been seen by anybody except him. What an intimacy! The pebble he has just thrown in river will never be seen by anybody ever again. What a heartbreak!

Life is like photography. At one point we realize that candid photography offers more “Perfect Moments” than stressfully trying to control everything to create such moments.

You can meditate even while chopping carrots: The metal of knife has come from Earth, carrots have come from Earth, body is nothing but refined Earth. It's all a dance of Earth and you are the eternal watcher, the soul.

Spiritual experiences happen at soul level and they're very positive and powerful. When similar experiences happen at mind level, they are called mental sickness because they're very negative and harmful.
