Grow old gracefully. Drop your desires when you lose ability to fulfill them. Otherwise you will try to fulfill them through others; You will become controlling, compulsive, manipulative, noisy and downright disgraceful.

You keep blaming Karma but never take a look at your desires. Are they your own desires or copied from others? Maybe your Karma is good enough to fulfill your own unique desires but not for copied generic desires.

When somebody is massaging your head, you will notice that they tend to leave one spot untouched. You will say, “Why are you leaving the spot where it is itching the most?” The truth is, that spot is itching the most because it is being left out.“Why am I not getting the thing I want the most?” should be rephrased as “I am itching to get this thing because I am not getting it.” The power of a desire lies in the difficulty to fulfil it.

Two friends were trekking a mountain. One was motivating the other. “Come on! Think of the magical view from the peak. It will be worth the struggle.” When they reached the peak, they got to see nothing but fog.”Universe is the lover you can’t fool around with. You must love truly. You must love the whole journey. Then only you will get the magical view at the peak.

If you're not willing to be pulled out of your existing mental and physical structures, you can't expect to have anything different from what you have.

If we see the universe as a whole, nothing is changing in it. The scenes of the past are still there in the past. The scenes of future are already there in the future. You, the soul, are passing through them and experiencing the illusion of change. Karma gives you the fuel, Desires give you direction. If you didn't have any Karma or Desires, you would just float in eternity.

Whatever you want in life - spiritual knowledge or materialistic things - the outside world can only give you a recycled version of what you already have.If you want something new, the seed has to come from within you. That seed then becomes the things you want.

Desires are like coil springs. When we try to handle them at the mind level, we either suppress them too much or stretch them too much. In both the cases, a lot of stress and negative energy accumulates that harms us.

The cause of misery is not lack of something but excess of thoughts.
