You watch cute dog videos today. Tomorrow you discover videos of injured animals. Then you discover videos on animal cruelty. Then you get angry. Then you start seeing cruelty everywhere. News and incidents of cruelty reach you before anyone else. You start going deeper and deeper into an endless spiral.

You are infinite but the character you're playing has certain boundaries. Before you discover those healthy boundaries, you will be so excessively kind that your soul will cry and so excessively mean that your conscience will hurt.

Kindness often comes from a guilt-ridden mind, compassion comes from an aware soul. Kindness is selective, compassion is for all. For example, kind people often take care of dogs and cats but create nuisance for their fellow human beings. They often believe in a world without borders but become a tool in the hands of one country to harm another country.

You see a woman showing immense affection to her child and her dog. Then you see the same woman hating others' children and eating other animals. These kind of people have no love inside them. They are just soul-less bags of flesh and blood that react to external stimulants.

One way to serve people is to let them blame you for their pain. The pain whose source is unknown is most unbearable. So people manufacture a source to reduce that pain.

Lustful people are often very generous. Addicts often have a tender heart. Bad things about you often surround the best thing about you just as thorns surround a rose.

Your kindness is only for the half. The compassion that will flow from deep inside you will be for everyone: rich-poor, deer-lion, wise-unwise because they all are caught in the trap that you will have escaped.

Kindness comes from your need of being needed. If you are kind, you are attracting people or animals that need you.Compassion is different. Compassion comes from your soul and first heals your own mind and your need of being needed.
