Imagine a machine that vibrates when it is on. If you have to sit on it to operate it, you will vibrate too. You will get tired way before the machine. Your body and mind are machines too. Ask any runner. They don’t run along with their body. They find a stillness inside them. They ride on that stillness while the body runs. That’s how they can run the body to its maximum capacity. Same goes for mind. You must find the stillness inside you to use body-mind to their maximum capacity.

When you're in a car, you remain still while the car moves. Similarly, when body-mind are working to reach some goal, your inner self should be still and peaceful in the present.

Mind is like a wild horse that either runs after something or runs away from something. You are not the mind. You are the rider sitting still.

The knowledge a student seeks is already inside the school bag she carries. She goes to school to transfer that knowledge inside her mind. At the end of the year, the entire bag is supposed to become part of her mind.Your ideas and beliefs about God are like a school bag you carry around. They are supposed to burn and become an integral part of you. Don’t fall in love with the bag. It is supposed to go.
